This is an undocumented specimen from a laboratory culture of worms collected in 2010 called SR1 (for more details see Zadesenets, K. S., D. B. Vizoso, A. Schlatter, I. D. Konopatskaia, E. Berezikov, L. Schärer, and N. B. Rubtsov. 2016. Evidence for karyotype polymorphism in the free-living flatworm, Macrostomum lignano, a model organism for evolutionary and developmental biology. The images have usually been taken in a sequence using 4x, 10x, 20x, 40x, and 100x (oil) objectives and where available we have added images of a stage micrometer at the same magnifications to permit spatial calibration.
