Publication of the first multi-gene phylogeny of the Macrostomorpha

We are very happy to announce that we have just published the first multi-gene phylogeny of the Macrostomorpha in Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution. The phylogeny, which includes both nuclear and mitochondrial genes, covers members of most major groups and describes several new taxa. Over the coming months I will try to accommodate the taxonomical changes we propose in the article in the phylogeny on this site. We are very proud of this achievement and hope that it will lead to a resurgent interest into this amazing group of worms.

So many worms, so little time!
